Our repertoire encompasses everything from classical pieces to film themes to instrumental interpretations of modern pop tunes.
Membership is open to any guitar player between Grade 1 and Grade 4 standard from Junior and Secondary schools in the wider Basingstoke area.
Hampshire Music Service co-ordinates bands, ensembles, orchestras and choirs for children and young people, all over Hampshire. The service organises some 400 performances every year, which can range from small gatherings of musicians and their families, to large events in public venues such as Winchester Cathedral, The Anvil and even The Royal Albert Hall. The service also supports schools to provide quality music tuition and affordable instrument hire to pupils.
Hampshire Music Service charges a fee for Ensemble Membership, which during the school year 2021-2022, is £35 per term and for County Ensemble Membership is £45 per term. If your child belongs to more than one ensemble you will only pay one fee.
